THE RED DOT
INTERNATIONAL SHARING PROJECT - WHAT’S IT ABOUT AND HOW DO I DO IT?
Be it time, a ride, tools or a meal, most of us have something to share. Normally this happens between family and friends, but we can share with everyone and everyone can share with us. The red dot is simply a symbol, to show your will to share with others. It doesn’t require any platform or an internet connection: just place the dot in front of your door, on your car, on your jacket or wherever you think the right place is. You decide the size of it and if you’d like to provide more specific information about what you are willing to share.
The red dot will let people know that you are willing to share something, and from there it’s up to you. There is no website, no collectio n of data, no defined development. The dot is just an invitation to share more, and to share beyond the bounds of our familiar environment. If and how you decide to be part of it, it’s up to your imagination. The red dot can be created using spray paint, a brush, a sticker - or whichever way you think is best.

If you’d like to help circulate this project you can download the files below to print out and place around where you live. We chose DIY printing is to remove shipping/polution, and localise the project. We encourage anone interested to re-interpret or re-make the posters and artwork!
